We left Georgia on Saturday morning and decided to drive straight through 400 miles to Lauderdale. The weather and driving conditions were good and we wanted to make up for some time lost in the snow and ice. Sandi just whipped up lunch on the fly and we stopped at a rest stop to fire up the generator and make a pot of coffee. It took about 10 hours and we made it snuggled safely into Paul B's driveway at about 7 pm.
Alright, I didn't know Paul and Barb turned their house into an Elks lodge, nice.
