We woke up to the sound of tree branches breaking in Wachung, NJ. Everything was coated with ice including the roads, which is why we had to wait till noon to take off today. It did turn to rain and the roads (eventually) were great. The late start and a Jackknifed oil tanker that shut down I95 caused another day of delays and detours. Oh well, we made it to Washington DC and as luck would have it were staying at the Alexandria Elks tonight with electric plug in and water hook up for 10 bucks.
Sandi made shrimp scampi for dinner (awesome). Now well head inside for cocktails with the locals.
